A talented pianist is set to light up Bury Parish Church on Friday.
Alex Lin, who was born in Guangzhou, China, will be performing at the town centre church in lunchtime concert at 12.30pm.
In 2018, Alex began his studies at the Royal Birmingham Conservatoire.
During his undergraduate degree, he was exposed to a wider range of musical genres and his playing became more "sophisticated and inspired more virtuosity".
He was also recommended for chamber music opportunities and took part in performances and competitions within the Conservatoire, as well as winning the "Miss A.E. Bowen Challenge Cup" and the "Winifred Micklam Prize".
In 2022, Alex went to Royal Northern College of Music (RNCM) to continue his studies.
During his studies at the RNCM, he has "consistently improved the quality of his musical performances, and continued to explore his understanding of new music".
